7. Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit Farm and Market

Visit in the fall to find rows upon rows of apple trees with plump, ripe apples ready to be picked. The delicious aroma of apples wafts through the air, creating a feeling similar to walking into a bit of paradise. Picking your apples is a unique and satisfying experience that allows you to interact with nature at Hollabaugh Bros. Fruit Farm and Market.
As you carefully pick the juiciest apples fresh from the tree, you’ll feel happy and thankful for the bounty of the harvest season. And when you finally select the juiciest apples straight from the tree, proudly holding them in your hands, it’s a moment worth capturing. Don’t forget to snap a photo of yourself proudly holding your hand-picked treasures!
If you visit in April, as I did, take your photos among the flowering apple trees instead!

8. Seminary Ridge Museum
Address: 61 Seminary Ridge, Gettysburg
Hours: Monday-Sunday: 9 am to 5 pm
As you step inside Seminary Ridge Museum, you’ll be greeted by intriguing displays that accurately portray the events of the Civil War era. Each floor offers a new perspective, enhanced by informative videos that deepen your understanding of the battlefield’s importance.
However, the true highlight of your visit is the museum’s cupola. Climbing to this viewpoint will reward you with a breathtaking view of the surrounding area, offering a unique opportunity to see the historic battlefield from a new perspective. Advance reservations for a tour are necessary.
It’s a moment that’s worth capturing on camera. Strike a pose leaning against the railing, with the expansive landscape as your backdrop, or look out at the scenery for a relaxing pose.

9. Cashtown Inn
