Wine drinkers will enjoy a visit to Muse Vineyards. Spend an afternoon enjoying this award-winning estate vineyard. Sample their wines by ordering a flight while noshing on some delicious local treats. After selecting your favorite type of wine, purchase a bottle to take home.

3. Woodstock Brewhouse Beer
As a craft beer lover, one of my favorite souvenirs to purchase are cans or a crowler of local beer. While this is not a souvenir that will last a long time, it is a great way to share your finds with your fellow beer-loving friends. Woodstock Brewhouse offers a large selection of craft beer to please the beer snob in your life.

4. Doc Kom Bucha
Brewed in neighboring Strasburg, Doc Kom Bucha is a local favorite that you will find everywhere you stop. The story goes that the creator’s wife suffered from tummy issues while pregnant (so many of us have been there!). He created this kombucha as a way to help ease her digestive distress. The company offers several flavors that are mild and fresh and a perfect accompaniment to your meal. They’re a great non-alcoholic alternative souvenir!

5. Handcrafted wood items
Artisans and artists abound in Woodstock VA. They’re inspired by the natural beauty of the area. You can find beautifully handcrafted wood items from tableware to tables and everything in between!

6. Carpetbagger Bag
This historic tradition continues right here in Woodstock VA. Carpetbagger bags have been featured in multiple movies such as Amistad, Tombstone, and Bewitched, among others. These beautiful pieces are not cheap, but they’re some of the most unique gifts you can give yourself or someone you love.

7. Filibuster Distillery Alcohol
Technically in neighboring Maurertown, Filibuster Distillery creates award-winning bourbons and other liquors. Located in a nondescript warehouse, visitors will be surprised by the speak-easy feeling inside. Not a bourbon lover? Filibuster also crafts gin and other spirits.

8. Local honey
Local honey is a terrific souvenir because the flavors are always unique to the locality. Pop Hallar’s Honey is a sticky sweet treat which Travelers Treasures can hardly keep in stock.

Okay, so these won’t last long at all but if you’ve got someone waiting for you at home, bring back a freshly baked good from Flour and Water. Whether you opt for a delicious loaf of bread, a sweet cookie, or any other option, you’re sure to make someone happy, perhaps the person housesitting for you or your kids!

10. Route 11 Chips
Another one that is located nearby in neighboring Mt. Jackson. These small-batch, kettle-cooked chips are some of the best I’ve ever had! Whether you choose to purchase small individual-serving bags or a larger family-size bag, you’re sure to delight the recipient. Route 11 chips come in 9 different flavors, do yourself a favor and grab an assortment! While the lightly salted are the best sellers, my favorite were the dill pickle chips.

11. North Mountain Wine
Also technically located in neighboring Maurertown, lovers of German-style wines will absolutely love a bottle from North Mountain Vineyards and Winery. I decided to go seasonal with a bottle of Spiced Holiday Wine to recreate the feeling of a European Christmas market as the holidays approach.
